Background
I have been a cyclist for many years, a mechanic for most of them. I am a 17 year veteran bike mechanic. My passion for this sport started in my hometown bike shop: Oshkosh Cyclery. When I moved to the Twin Cities, I continued my career at Penn Cycle. It was there that my passion for race support support began. During my 10 years at Penn Cycle, I worked as team mechanic for numerous 24 hour races and weekend races. I was also in charge of support for various charity ride events.
I have been involved with the Nature Valley Grand Prix/Great River Energy Bike Festival for the last 5 years. I sit on the planning commission as the neutral support coordinator making sure that the top cycling athletes have the right professional support needed for one of the nations largest cycling races. This year will be OnSupports' third year providing support to these amazing athletes.
I am a USA Cycling certified mechanic attending a week long seminar and classes at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado. I have had many accomplishments in the cycling industry, and am a respected member of the cycling community.
